"This was a great victory from me. Fighting in Mexico has been a blessing for me. The fighters here in Mexico are true warriors, they are tough and have a lot of heart. They fight for Mexican pride and for the pride and honor of their family. For a lot of these guys their record doesn't matter, it's a way that they support their family. So fighting here in Mexico has set my professional boxing career ahead of the game. These guys fight with heart and pride and for them beating an American fighter will make them a legend in their family or town. So every fight I've had so far these guys had no quit in them. My goal is to one day become Champion of the World and Mexico has taken me to levels I don't think I would have gotten fighting in the states. I will forever be grateful to the Mexican people, Rios Boxing Promotions and to all my opponents because they helped build a strong foundation that has contributed to my current titles and soon my future World Titles to come."
- Brady Ochoa

Brady made his professional boxing debut at just 16 years old and making Mexico History by being the youngest fighter to win the Mexican WCC Pacific Coast Title at just 17 years of age.
Brady began his journey in combat sports in MMA/Muay Thai/Boxing at he age of four. He began sparring MMA professional fighters at the age of 13 and sparring professional boxing World Champions at 15. By 18yrs old, he has already sparred with 13 world champions.
His father/coach Eddie Ochoa was a Team USA boxing coach with international tournament experience. He owns a high performance boxing and sports performance gym in Gilbert Arizona. This allowed Brady to grow up in the gym every day since the age of seven.
Brady began his combat fighting career in MMA at an early age. He was always involved in multiple sports academies such as MMA, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Jujitsu, Basketball, and Golf.
Brady’s father strongly believes in Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and has always been involved in sports performance training since he was 4 years old beginning with gymnastics, to kid fitness, to strength & condition involving plyometrics, speed, agility, quickness, mobility, flexibility, and power training.
Brady father Eddie Ochoa firmly states, "Today many sports experts claim that you may not be able to control winning, but you can control the experience your team has.
That mindset prioritizes comfort. I don't believe in participation trophies.
I’m a Marine. I believe in old-school coaching— where athletes are character driven because character is forged, not built by protecting their feelings. Winning isn’t the foundation. Character is. You don’t build champions in sport or in life, by managing feelings or manufacturing safe experiences. You build them by teaching young men and women how to lose with integrity, how to take discipline with a good attitude, how to take correction without excuses, how to fall and stand back up without blaming others.
Losing exposes character. It reveals fear, pride, weakness, insecurity — and gives you the opportunity to confront it.
If a young man cannot lose with humility, discipline, and faith, he is not ready to win with responsibility.
Before he can carry a belt, he must learn to carry himself like a man.
Reputation can get you to the top — but it is character that keeps you there. I didn't care about building Brady's self-esteem or amateur record, it was about building character and grit through perseverance. This is contrary to what parents do today. To me it wasn't about self-esteem, it was about building strong godly biblical men, hard working, resilient kids who will grow up ready to conquer what ever path in life God has for them. For my son Brady, it happens to be the sport of boxing."
